I love this site - what an easy idea to think of - why didnt I do it first! This would be a fun job trying to think of all the ideas. Please Enjoy.

Paint the Wall but first the Floor and then the entire Building
I love stop motion videos for some reason and this was is awesome!!! This is a collaborative animation by Artists Blu and David Ellis done this year. For some reason the video loops it twice so you can stop after the first time.

Another DJ gone to soon.....
Just got word that Roc Raida - one of the best scratch DJ's to ever do has passed away this weekend. Aparently he was in a Martial Arts accident and has been in the hospital for some time now and lost his last battle.
I had the pleasure to meet Raida a few times thanks to my boy Steve who always threw shows with Raida. Funny thing is how this amazing DJ who had been crowned a Grand Master in Djing (if you don't know you will not understand it) was from NYC but lived recently in Millersville, the town I grew up in. He actually lived right near my current house and we always talked about meeting up and messing around together - really though I just wanted to watch him dj in his own home environment.... looks like I should of picked up the phone and called when he told me to. Rest in Paradise Raida - you will be missed.
Here are a few gems from youtube of his mastery.

My favorite part is the guys face on the turntable at the end during the beat juggle. Hilarious robot noises

F'N Stupid
So I had to post this even though I have no respect for this guy at all. Soulja Boy to me is the worst rapper and I hate the fact that he has more money than I do. Talk about wasting your money, I mean I wonder how many people in his family are out of work and jobless right now and he is out dropping diamonds on a remote control Labo??? Seriously, I hope when I have kids they do not act like this, look up to this, nor piss their money away like this. Sorry for the rant but this shit is stupid.
Such a Fantasy
One of the funniest shows on TV - Cant wait for the new season. Reminds me of what my friends and I would do if we had the money and time.

Great Commercial
Pretty interesting video - it's been done before making a video from pictures but I really like this one, being that its a commercial I love it even more. Reminds me of something my friend Zane would try to create.

You Sunk my Battleship
ENIGMA – BATTLESHIP DRINKING GAME
The Enigma is a classic Battleship game turned into a drinking game. Its played just like the usual Battleship game with one addition. If you hit the target your opponent drinks a corresponding shot. The game also features a radar screen to mark the shots of each player and a list of the ships remaining.
I want one - to bad it's just a prototype

Pure Musical Genius!!!!
Thats all i can say to sum up Michael Jackson - I don't give a crap what happened to Post 90's - I am strictly a Pre 90's MJ Fan - We all grew up on a healthy dose of MJ - Dude was amazing, everyone wanted to be him and everyone in this world knows who he was, is, and will always be. Don't get me wrong he had a lot of help with his music (Thank you very much Quincy Jones) but the guy can sing and dance his face off. Yeah did he get white, weird and ugly, of course he did - but he is one of the best to grace a stage ever. So minus all the bad stuff that happened in his life and how the media will now kill his reputation - I salute you MJ - you were the man and I am very pissed I never got a chance to see you live.
Check the Itunes stats as of 6/27 - WOW - 7 of the top 10 songs and 9 of the top 10 album downloads.
Oh and HipHop also thanks Michael - check this list of songs that were sampled making countless other songs -Truly Amazing

The Hangover
Still Bill
A few of my favorite songs right now come from Bill Withers - I have all his Records on Vinyl but just picked up his "Best Of" CD and its a must have for summer time. I noticed a new Documentary coming soon about him and I cannot wait - He did so much for music and people really never recognize him.
Check the Preview below for more info but I will leave you with my favorite quote from Bill because damn does it make sense.
"It's OK to head out for Wonderful. But on your way to Wonderful, you're gonna have to pass through Alright. And when you get to Alright, take a good look around and get used to it, cuz that may be as far as you're gonna go"

GONE
I love the fact that David Bucker knows he is going to pass out and tells the other guy - But what can you do it's live TV. Best part is that David says "GONE" and then drops - Fantastic TV - that station sucks though - Watch it a few times and listen to him whisper that he is going to pass it - so funny.... Is it weird that the other guy has a nice shirt, tie and suit jacket on but with Jeans?? Tricky Tricky Fox News....

April 18th - Support Independent Record Stores
Get out of Best Buy - Stop buying crap on iTunes - Remember what a CD booklet looks like? - the pictures, lyrics, etc. One of my favorite things about CD's is actually going through the booklet and learning about the album- Learning what the song is about or what the hell that lyric is on the 2nd verse. Well now that everything is all digital you completely loose the fun in music. Don't get me wrong I have been know to download everything and anything I have ever wanted but I still love buying CD's from a store. But I hate buying from Best Buy, Circuit City (RIP) or FYE or any crappy Mall store because they are all over way over priced. Why am I writing this shit?? well this Saturday is April 18th and is officially Record Store Day meaning Independent Owned Record Store Day.
This is the one day that all of the independently owned record stores come together with artists to celebrate the art of music. Special vinyl and CD releases and various promotional products are made exclusively for the day and hundreds of artists in the United States and in various countries across the globe make special appearances and performances. Festivities include performances, cook-outs, meet & greets with artists, parades, djs spinning records and on and on. Metallica officially kicked off Record Store Day at Rasputin Music in San Franscisco on April 19, 2008 and Record Store Day is now celebrated the third Saturday every April.
A Record Store Day participating store is defined as a physical retailer whose product line consists of at least 50% music retail, whose company is not publicly traded and whose ownership is at least 70% located in the state of operation. (In other words, we’re dealing with real, live, physical, indie record stores—not online retailers or corporate behemoths).
Check the Website for more info - www.recordstoreday.com
Where will I be on Saturday?? You can usually find me at Record and Tape Traders (Glen Burnie), El Suprimo(B-More) or Sound Garden(B-More)???
NOPE - I will be in NYC - ohh hell yeah... SUPPORT THE INDEPENDENT STORE go to Fells Point and support Sound Garden - if you cant find a cd there it does not exist.
and remember - For When the Music Hits, I Feel No Pain At All

Bored?
Found this fun and simple site - Much thanks to Ron Winter - who created this online drum machine capable of being played by both mouse and keyboard. These sounds alone are just fun to mess with.
Here is a hint - You want to piss your Wife off, try holding down either B, N or M or all or all in random order - It does the trick.
Try it yourself - http://www.ronwinter.tv/drums.html
