Negus Please!!

WOW who picks these words anyways.

Transformers 2 on IMAX

First off I have been waiting for this Movie for a long damn time - Am I happy it comes out on my B-Day weekend you damn right I am. But I just found out something that makes me really excited - It's playing at the "real" IMAX in Baltimore (Maryland Science Center). Yes I will be there.....Yes I will ask everyone to go with me... Yes if no one wants to go with, I will go by my damn self.

Pics were taking from Michael Bays website

The Hangover

TheHangover - Saw it last night with the Wife - All I can say is go see it because I already want to see it again.
Is it the best comedy ever - no but damn its got some really funny parts and I think goes up there along with Old School and Wedding Crashers.

Still Bill

A few of my favorite songs right now come from Bill Withers - I have all his Records on Vinyl but just picked up his "Best Of" CD and its a must have for summer time. I noticed a new Documentary coming soon about him and I cannot wait - He did so much for music and people really never recognize him.

Check the Preview below for more info but I will leave you with my favorite quote from Bill because damn does it make sense.

"It's OK to head out for Wonderful. But on your way to Wonderful, you're gonna have to pass through Alright. And when you get to Alright, take a good look around and get used to it, cuz that may be as far as you're gonna go"

Sorry I took a Break

I have been supper busy so sorry for the lack of posts. I am heading to Disney World next week for a nice little vacation so I will have a bunch of fun stuff to post soon for that Trip. Since I got nothing for you right now I will post a trailer for a movie that comes out soon. Looks crazy - Kinda like 28 days later meets Armageddon meets I am Legend. Enjoy

GONE

I love the fact that David Bucker knows he is going to pass out and tells the other guy - But what can you do it's live TV. Best part is that David says "GONE" and then drops - Fantastic TV - that station sucks though - Watch it a few times and listen to him whisper that he is going to pass it - so funny.... Is it weird that the other guy has a nice shirt, tie and suit jacket on but with Jeans?? Tricky Tricky Fox News....

April 18th - Support Independent Record Stores

Get out of Best Buy - Stop buying crap on iTunes - Remember what a CD booklet looks like? - the pictures, lyrics, etc. One of my favorite things about CD's is actually going through the booklet and learning about the album- Learning what the song is about or what the hell that lyric is on the 2nd verse. Well now that everything is all digital you completely loose the fun in music. Don't get me wrong I have been know to download everything and anything I have ever wanted but I still love buying CD's from a store. But I hate buying from Best Buy, Circuit City (RIP) or FYE or any crappy Mall store because they are all over way over priced. Why am I writing this shit?? well this Saturday is April 18th and is officially Record Store Day meaning Independent Owned Record Store Day.

This is the one day that all of the independently owned record stores come together with artists to celebrate the art of music. Special vinyl and CD releases and various promotional products are made exclusively for the day and hundreds of artists in the United States and in various countries across the globe make special appearances and performances. Festivities include performances, cook-outs, meet & greets with artists, parades, djs spinning records and on and on. Metallica officially kicked off Record Store Day at Rasputin Music in San Franscisco on April 19, 2008 and Record Store Day is now celebrated the third Saturday every April.
A Record Store Day participating store is defined as a physical retailer whose product line consists of at least 50% music retail, whose company is not publicly traded and whose ownership is at least 70% located in the state of operation. (In other words, we’re dealing with real, live, physical, indie record stores—not online retailers or corporate behemoths).

Check the Website for more info - www.recordstoreday.com

Where will I be on Saturday?? You can usually find me at Record and Tape Traders (Glen Burnie), El Suprimo(B-More) or Sound Garden(B-More)???
NOPE - I will be in NYC - ohh hell yeah... SUPPORT THE INDEPENDENT STORE go to Fells Point and support Sound Garden - if you cant find a cd there it does not exist.

and remember - For When the Music Hits, I Feel No Pain At All
